Today Diablo 3 has been announced. On their website they have the cinematic trailer as well as the gameplay trailer. Today is a good day for blizzard fans. We will continue to have ongoing coverage of the WWI convention as details arise.

Ok, so here we are on day four, and I still have no idea what this splash screen could possibly be leading to. At first it seemed so certain that the announcement would be Diablo 3. The farther that we go along, the more I start to doubt that. Anyway, here is the new information.

As you can see, in this the ice is breaking open into what will eventually be revealed. Although today there were some interesting developments with the runes. Today we have a new protoss rune.

First Rune: Wrath of the Lich King
Second Rune: Hell Rune from Diablo

The splash screen from yesterday changed a little bit. This one is a little brighter and has a rune on the right side pretty visable.

I’ve heard this is a Shael rune from Diablo 2. Could we be seeing the announcement of Diablo 3? Here is the new hidden image:
